Description: GWNET Executive Director, Christine Lins, led a presentation at the webinar Girl Power: The Role of Women in the Energy Transition, on the topic “Energising Women to Advance the Energy Transition.”
This webinar presented the opportunity to discuss the role of women in the energy transition from different points of view: are EU energy policies sufficiently inclusive? Is it appropriate to address gender consideration from a numerical point of view? Do energy communities represent a virtuous model?
Additionally, the webinar addressed the opportunities and limitations of education and training, which are core to the ASSET project.
