The Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition (GWNET) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) are proud to announce the selected participants for the “Women in the SICA Energy Transition” mentoring programme.

The mentoring programme which received 70+ applications aims to advance the careers of junior and mid-career women working in the energy transition, in Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and the Dominican Republic.

Each of the selected mentees will be matched with a hand-picked mentor with whom they will engage in a bilateral exchange between August 2021 and June 2022; this matchmaking is done based on career aspirations stipulated in the application form.

In parallel, an exclusive knowledge-transfer course on energy and personal development topics will be organised for the mentee cohort to stimulate growth.
