Announcing the participants: Energising Women to Advance the Energy Transition

GWNET is excited to share the selected participants for the Energising Women to Advance the Energy Transition Mentoring Programme.

The programme was launched by the Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition (GWNET) in partnership with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), across select countries under the German bilateral energy partnerships.

GWNET has received 260+ applications from women working in sustainable energy in:

Each of the selected mentees will be matched with a hand-picked mentor with whom they will engage in a bilateral exchange between June 2021 and May 2022; this matchmaking is done based on career aspirations stipulated in the application form.

In parallel, an exclusive online course on energy and personal development topics will be organised for the mentee cohort to stimulate growth.
